Scientists now tell us that during the planet Mars' 4.5 billion years of existence, the planet was wet approximately one billion years. You remember scientists, those creatures that used to inhabit our planet Earth until Conservatives had them all burned at the stake.
Back to Mars, what happened to the wet planet? I'm not sure, I'm not a scientist, but I figure that there was atmospheric pollution, that was followed by global warming, Republicans on Mars called it a hoax, and the damn place just burned up.
Of course burning of scientists at the stake on the planet Mars probably contributed to global warming there too.
