GOP Punchline #3: The Individual

Actually, there is no such word in the Republican dictionary.

A jackass named Grover Norquist is making all the Repubs sign oaths for this, oaths for that. They are robots, puppets. Not just now, I've watched them for fifty years; it has always been this way; they don't tolerate individuals.
The rare individuals they do have, I respect: Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe, Excuse me if I left out another great one.

The others? All the Tea Party has to do is wave a sign in front of their face, and they fall to their knees. Look at Rick Perry; Tea Party says secede, Rick doesn't joke about it, he goes on to explain how when Texas entered the Union they reserved the right to secede. Rick Perry can secede if he wants to, but it is not written in the books allowing Texas to secede. Get your facts straight before you run for office Rick.
My advice to Repubs: Don't send Rick to Washington. He might try to get The United States to secede from itself.

What would Rick do? If the Tea Party held signs in his face insisting that Thunderbird be made the official state wine of Texas, what would Rick do?

But a favorite saying the GOP has is that "Democrats are for the masses; they are for the individual." Yes every once in a while, every here and there, every now and then, they will stand for an individual. I remember the publicity Ronald Reagan got when he found one individual a job at a hamburger joint.

Repubs make the mistake of saying that we are for the masses because they can't accept that we are for each and every individual.
